Flooring & Tile
Flooring is the one finish in the house that everybody touches every day, and the one where preparation decides everything.
A floor that cracks, squeaks, or lifts at the edges is almost never the material's fault. It is a subfloor that was not flat, a transition that was not planned, or an adhesive that was not right for the slab. We check and correct what is underneath before anything is laid, which is the least visible and most important part of the job.
After that, it is layout. Where the pattern starts decides where the awkward cut ends up, and we set that out so the narrow pieces land under the cabinets and out of the sightline from the door. Stairs, thresholds, and the joins between rooms get the same attention — a floor reads as finished when you stop noticing the edges.
What this covers

- Stair treads, risers, and nosings
- Transitions between rooms without a lip to catch a toe
- Shower floors and other wet-area tile
Before you commit to anything
If you have already bought the material, bring it up at the walkthrough. What is in the boxes changes how the floor needs to be prepared.
A walkthrough for flooring & tile costs you nothing: Nothing. The walkthrough and the quote cost you nothing. We cover Livingston and Polk County through to greater Houston, so booking one is a matter of finding a time rather than a distance.
